Project is an exploration of joinery in building construction. “Muu” is a combination of five exterior mega panels. The focus is to emphasize the patterns of seams embedded within the joint connection between panels. Project attempts to eliminate any kind of hardware used in typical building assembly. Closure between panels is generated by locking and shape fitting. Each panel seam connection is designed to fit with the seam of neighboring panel.

Each panels is a composite, made out of multiple layer of material. Mega panels are prefabricated in the shop to limit the labor at the construction site.

Transportation to the site is conducted mainly by helicopter, based on the great size of each panel. Smaller pieces are brought by typical semi-trucks.
